(To Traditional Tune 'The Hard Times Of Old England)

I'll hold up my hand and admit I was wrong
to vote for the Libdems who've strung us along
And sold themselves out for the price of a song
Singing oh, the hard times of old England
In old England, very hard times

One sniff of power and they are like lap-mutts
They've propped up the tories and their evil cuts
Tell us Nick Clegg do you like David in your butt?
Singing oh, the hard times of old England
In old England, very hard times

Now these public schoolboys are selling our land
to the highest bidder for a greasy backhand
So come all you good people and lets make a stand
Singing oh, the hard times of old England
In old England, very hard times

Don't let them sell off our forests and cut down our trees
Don't let them sack us nor up student fees
Making the banks pay sure would cure this disease
Singing oh, the hard times of old England
In old England, very hard times

Have you forgot that the city have caused these cutbacks?
Surely the right thing to do is the Robin Hood Tax
And put all these millionaires head's to the axe
Singing oh, the hard times of old England
In old England, very hard times

And now to conclude and to finish my song
Lets hope that these hard times, they will not last long
I hope soon to have occasion to alter my song, and sing
Oh, the good times of old England
In old England, jolly good times!
I'm so angry with the fact that the bankers who've got us in to this mess are leaving us to tighten our belts.
As part of this, the government is planning to sell Britain's forests to the highest bidders.
